Landscaping Update

Hi Folks! We met with Jamie today, the hugely talented landscaper we are partnering with. Her company is called Olthia (named after her grandmother). We walked over lots of ground, and covered things like our new sign, the water feature at the front of the venue, the promenade on the East side of the venue, the fence bordering the wildflower meadow, the vertical gardens and the placement of our two-seater swing! We know we keep telling you that it will be amazing, but that is not even going to give it justice. We have a feeling that even though our venue is spectacular, people will rent with us just to be able to walk the grounds! Here are a couple of pictures of our manager, Katie Barlow, and assistant manager, Shelby Howerton, who also accompanied us on the tour! The last picture is what I like to think of as strength no matter the circumstances. This little guy sprung up in the middle of our project during heavy construction!

Better and better

When trying to describe our landscaping vision to the many brides-to-be, we have found it difficult to put into words just how amazing it is going to look.  Well, it is going to be a lot easier now that our amazing landscaper, Jamie from Olthia, has prepared a conceptual master plan which we have just uploaded onto our website.  Jamie has some incredible ideas to make our landscape very unique.  Her landscaping master plan sets out 15 different one-of-a-kind “destinations” that you can take your photos and/or have a smaller ceremony if you want to get married with the horizon as your altar.  These include the The Wildflower Meadow, Coneflower Cove, the Sparrow Swing, Daybreak Ridge, Gracie’s Gulch and Juniper Glen, just to name a few.  Please take a look and get a bird’s eye view of our property and all we have to offer you on your special day!
